Hrmmm, where have I heard that before....but the car being trashed was not a Scooby...rather a Dodge.... oh yeah RIGHT HERE!

That's one of the best threads I've ever read on any car forum. I thought it was great how many of the Ferrari owners gave props to and admitted how much they loved a 30k Subaru. Not something you'd expect from people with that much money.

Of course like any forum, they did have their whiney little *****es that make excuses.

I don't know how many times I've read on hear about people saying "Beware the turbo civic!" and then others coming in with "yeah, but it's still a civic." Same with the Neons, like Teep stated. This just smacks of hypocrisy. I mean, what is an STi or a WRX but a turbo RS?? It's the same old same old, really. Take a base car, and make it perform as well as exotics but for cheaper. That happened in the old days with Mustangs/Camaros too. Glad to see some people give credit where credit is due.

haha entertaining thread. Wouldn't it be more likely that it was a modded wrx instead of a modded sti? Those guys should drag race an $8000 gsx with some mods.
