Geriatric Ricer

Pulled up to a light next to a newer Cougar V6, Guy had just passed me doing 65 in a 45 a few seconds earlier. Looked over at him and saw this old fossil with grey hair, actually mostly bald. Must have been 60+ years old, driving like a teenage ricer in a dang chick car. Light goes green and I just rollout from idle, he launches, tires chirp pulling a 1/2 car on me. I wasn't letting him go, wound first (got even) and second (one car lead on him) and then third up to 60 (had several car lead) nd then backed it down to 50ish (normal speed on the road)

Lost him behind me as we continued through traffic.

Maybe it was a hot flash???????

lol, that's the car i traded in when i bought my WRX. 01 cougar V6 170hp, 165lb of torque........i raced some cocky old farts with cougars when i had mine. not a bad little car but nothing compared to the wrx......needless to say i don't miss it

i raced a cougar once..it wasnt pretty he stopped at a light with like 4 kids in the car and said that he was "gonna race my stupid car" it angered me so that i gave him a clutch drop, he pulled me very very hard and had about 4 cars by 2rd gear...the cougar then had about 8 cars by the end of 3rd...cougar had about 12 cars by the end of 4th...i hit nos in 5th but he was about 16 cars ahead of me..those things are quick
