me vs. integra

I was goin down the road with (3 other people in the car) and i saw in the mirror two sets of headlights comming really fast. It was a prelude(sp?) and an integra(with lights underneath it, had to at least add a few horses ). They flew by, but got a red light ahead so they slowed down. we ended up stopped right behind them and my dumbass friend riding shotgun reaches over and blows my horn. I wasn't really wanting to race so i was pissed. then the integra (who is in the lane to my left) reverses back to me and revs up. by that time the light turned green and he took off, so i said what the hell and got on it. even with four people in the car and shifting at about 5 thousand i was able to pull away(slowly, but i wasn't running it hard). here is the fun part. we were comming up on the slower traffic, which were in both mine and his lanes, and i was about to slow down not to run into this explorer in front of me, but i hadn't really pulled away enough to consider him beat. So i darted to the shoulder and went by 2 cars that were in my land, and pulled the car back onto the road (it was a rush). To my suprise he had went into the oncomming traffic's lane to pass the cars in his lane too. I ended up pulling away alittle more before we got a light. That had just never happend before and i thought it was cool.

That really doesn't sound too safe...not that street racing is safe to begin with, but you're putting people who have nothing to do with your race in danger

i know it wasn't safe, but at least this time there was a ton of room for me to pass, it was just like an open lane....about the other guy, well i wansn't payin attention to the traffic over there
