Don't want to start a fight, just correct some numbers

    First WRX = OCT 1992

    First STi = Jan 1994

This is a Subaru Imprezza FWD

Sure the ecomomy version is not available anymore, BUT this is where the Impreza started. The Impreza WRX first hit in Japan in 94 and it was based on the success of the WRC car.

I still stand by my statement that these cars are just evolved econoboxes!
I didn't forget about the L. Actually, the Impreza launched in '92, and was available in an AWD Turbo version from the start. The L is a economy model based off a performance model

I'm with Drizze as well. We are NOT dealing with "sports cars" here. We're are dealing with performance-enhanced Neons, Imprezas and Lancers. Enough said.

i traded my wrx for my srt. opps, big mistake. i'd take it back in a heartbeat for the laggy no topend having, extreme parts costing wrx, no tq wrx. that thing was just a blast to drive. the srt is a bore. i have more fun in my 93 escort gt auto.

Meh, I guess it's ok. They bumped a few old threads today...

I always enjoy new posts in this forum anyway.

I say make it constructive. I'd actually like to hear about the new Hyundai's(but not in this thread, of course)...

The only reason it's not closed is because I wasnt a mod when this was started.

With that being said....It'll be interesting to see how Mr. SRT thinks of this thread after owning the car for a bit and multiplying the horsepower by about 3.

hey hey be nice to me. i was 20 then. lots has changed since then. i do regret buying this car and dumping a ton of cash into it making it impossible to sell. owell i was younger and dumber then i am now. no doubts i love my car, its power and ability to turn heads but i would of done a lot of things different if knew then what i know now. i would rolled with a basic stock srt4 for a few years and dumped it for a sti or evo. then once i got a really good job that i have now i could of kept my beater car and got at real nice car. elise,m3, used carrera etc. but instead i have a now paid off 600hp neon drag car and a 04 g35x for daily beater. i guess things could of came out worse.
