Ah ok. I hope he has enough money to replace that motor because it looks like he is trying to push it as far as possible!

drizze99, I really don't think anybody was getting fired up except for yourself. Must me one of those immature Neon owners...

J/K, thanks for bringing the additional information to the board.

    Haha...
Pushing any stock block 4 cylinder motor to those power levels is testing the limits. I look forward to his progress!

Well he is pushing it to it's limits by all means. He wants to know where the end of the road is. In about 3 weeks, he will be adding:

    -stand alone F.A.S.T. system
-stage 3 or 4 spec clutch or clutch masters
    -27psi boost
    -cams
    -800 cc injectors

He is trying to reach 600whp!!

They did't have a fan, so they cooled the FMIC with nitrous.

uh - I think that 4 ft high grey thing in the video is a fan. No dyno operator would run a vehicle without one. The radiator needs cooling too.

spraying nitrous on the intercooler is going to improve those numbers!

YES! you are right there was a fan there, but they said it was not a high velocity fan. They also did say that the nitrous *probably* gave them 30hp. I do agree with you that the nitous added to the numbers but wouldn't a cool day at driving speeds yeild the same output (~approx.)?

You got that right Drizze. Let's not get spraying nitrous on the intercooler confused with spraying directly into the air stream. Depending on how cold the intercooler was while they made the runs, the nitrous could definitely be simulating a natural driving condition.

ah - spray some nitrous straight from the bottle onto your hand from 3 inches and then tell me that is the same as sticking your hand out the window at 60mph!!!!

PS: I am not responsible for cryogenic burns sustained if you actually try this.

what about upgrading the header? Wouldn't that yeild some more torque at least? That looked to me like the stock header.
