The 4G63 just owns, it is so strong and the head flows so much it is just too easy, even with minimal mods.

Evos are just really fast. No too ways about.

Subaru can't build a 5MT and my buddy was CONSTANTLY rebuilding his tranny on his Eclipse.

The total for all those mods was a little over 2k. I'd say that's good bang for the buck. It would have been even cheaper but my dad didn't want me to order his parts online because he didn't want to wait for them, so I had to go local.

So to compete with my dad, I am getting a new APS turbo, not sure which one yet though. We think my VF30 is dead. It's making a really high pitched whining noise whenever I get into boost and it's just too loud to be spool. I think somehow something might have gone through the turbine wheel and got chewed up. We'll see though. Brainstorm is pulling apart the turbo for me within the week. If it's broken I'll have pics for you guys.

Sounds like an uppipe leak. If it is really dead, GROUP BUY on VF34s.

What's going on at 3500 rpms?
    -Brian

Twisty Monster - 335 ft/lb of torque @ 3600 rpm on a stock turbo. Is that possible? Yes it is.

    Torque?
Am I reading the dyno wrong or did the EVO make less than 300 ft lbs with those mods.

Also how much boost is the EVO running and is this race gas or 92 octane, etc?

Also, why is it always Brainstorms dyno that comes up with these high #s
