That car in that color is gorgeous. I'm going to have to talk my dad into getting one of those instead of a G35.

I drove one this weekend at the Chevrolet "Auto Show in Motion".

Man, that thing sounds soooooo nice. And the torque is just great. Pretty nice interior. The funny thing is the people there told me I could gun it for a little straigh away and then the rest of the course the speed limit was supposed to be around 30mph....ah, and I could not squeak the tires also. Well that was pretty hard to do. I tryed to take of as fast as I could without tire spin, but I just fried the clutch , felt like an idiot...but the thing is pretty fast . I got it back to the parking spot and I could still smell the clutch...I got the heck out of there...Anyway, very nice car, don't know how much they cost though, I didn't want to ask cause I wanted to be the first in line to drive the ZO6.

I saw it at the LA Autoshow. I loved it except for the wheels. They seem to small and dull to me, and I don't like the red pontiac logo on the wheels. I can't wait to see the car with tastefull aftermarket wheels.

    edit:
Wierd, in the pictures the wheels don't look as bad as they do in person.

I like it. I had a GTP and it has some of the same style. I did not want to pay for one though{$32.495.00 MSRP}. I thought about waiting for one, but opted for the STi.

It is heavy and fairly quick. It has great mod potential with the V-8 and horrible depreciation being an American vehicle. The biggest upside to the GTO{for me} would have been a friendly dealer. I had a modified GTP {3.4" SC pulley, E, I, H, ect.} and the dealer LOVED me and my car and there was never any discussion of the mods or the warranty being voided.

The first f'ing thing the Subaru dealer says after seeing an aftermarket exhaust is "You know that you have no warranty, right?". Let us say that we had a meeting of the minds after that comment. I think that Subaru means "warranty VOID" in Japaneese.

The guy driving the car was a writer for muscle car review magazine. He was righting a column on the car for the march issue. he reved it up and it sounded mean. look at the odometer. it only has 4 miles on it.

    350hp
    365lb/ft of torque
    3800lbs
0-50 in 5.1-5.3 (depends on the magazine you read)
    13.4-13.6@106-108 (depending on magazine)

slalom and skidpad are kinda low in my opinion for a car that is praised for being a handling car... 64mph and .89G(IIRC)

But I love the potential the car posses....come on LS1 powered
Stock or something close to it.....
