A WRX will generally walk a RSX from a light. The RSX's only hope is rolling and the WRX better be near stock{IHMO}. I have a modded RSX Type S and it is a fun ride! I think the RSX 6 speed SHIFTER is far superior to the STi's. It is very short and snicky. I never miss a shift in the Acura. I imagine part of reason is that I usually have to shift twice as fast in the STi. "

I agree, we are a bunch of egotistical nerds. Does that make him feel better that he drives a slow car?

Apparently, a number of them wouldn't know a WRX if it ran over them. That's okay though. They're in the same boat as me...I'm the only local STi and there's only one local RSX Type-S, and there might be one WRX. Oh well.

I raced an RSX once, but my win is tainted because I am a stuck up *******.

Theres always gonna be haters on both sites. I respect the
RSX-s. Stock for stock the WRX is a little faster but you start to mod and things might be a little different. You add a turbo and Hondata to the RSX and you have at LEAST a mid 13 second car.

I thought about a turbo for the RSX type S but it seemed expensive and a pain. You might as well buy an STi for the same price as a turbo'd RSX and gain the AWD {I did buy the STi after purchasing the RSX a year earlier}

Then I gave the RSX to my wife{she loves it}. I just wish that I had not put the wheels, I, H, E and Hondata in the RSX before I realized that I was destined to get a Scooby. I could use that extra 5k on the STi now. The RSX is fun to drive but torque free.
