Raced a Corvette on the freeway

On my way home from work, I was on the freeway doing about 100, I passed by a white corvette, who was probably doing about 75. It was one of the last gen vettes with the exhaust on each corner of his rear bumper, 1996 LT1? Anyways, I coasted down to about 80 and he comes rolling up along side of me. He's checking out my car and throws a rev at me and I return the same. He punches it and I have to wait for a path to open to get around the car in front of me. He had about 3 carlengths when I got my opening and I drop down to 4th and punch it, I start to reel him in fairly easily, and pass him at about 115~, just as I shift into 5th, I get about 5 carlength's ahead of him and shut down. I couldn't believe it, I thought he would destroy me on the highway. I slowed back down to 75, and he slowly passes me and I gave him a but he wouldn't look at me. Oh well, it was a nice rush.

Yeah, it was somewhere between 110-120. I usually don't like to race at those speeds, but I couldn't resist.
