We know our cars have limits, so list your mods or just admit you are a big fat liar.

Thats obviously top secret. He could tell us but then he would have to hunt us all down and kill us. Their would be no use running from his stock/non-stock bad a$$ ride.

Guys, you should probably lay off this guy. You never know, he might just have a TurboXS Stage 53 in his trunk. Those quad turbo packages are good for at least 627hp!!!

    When I had V8's:
    "Mine's bigger than your"
When I had the supercharged V6:
"It's not the size of the wave, it's the motion of the ocean"
Now with a turbo four, it's:
"It's not the size of the stick, but how you use it"

I think I have issues, man...

    Transam's...BLAH

They are fast cars...but trust me, a slightly modded REX will easily hang with or slaughter a stock LS1 transam/z28/ss. My REX has the uppipe and Downpipe and i have raced a transam from a roll and kept up with him all the way. If we did a race from the start, i would edge him out in the 1/4 for sure, but after that he prolly would reel me in. Either way...remove 2 cats from your REX and u are a V8 killer, add an MBC, and wave goodbye to most cars on the road. Dont believe me...try it .

    Uhh, no.
From a roll, you have no chance against a camaro. A stock WRX traps in at mid 90's, while a Z28 can easily get mid 100. You will get owned from a roll.
From a dead stop, you might have a chance if the run isn't too long.

    Scene:

Me driving our 1992 Legacy Wagon (four people onboard)
2001 Porsche 911 next to me on the shoulder at red light.
Porsche wants to beat me off the shoulder to get holeshot into my lane at the green.

    Action:

I rev the Legacy up and laugh as I eyeball the porsche pilot. The light turns green. I dump the clutch and LAUNCH the old wagon like a bat out of hell. The 911 stalls.

    Outcome:

I win. We all laugh hysterically!!!!!!!!

    Moral:

    YOU NEVER KNOW.

    Modding before break-in???

Is this safe? I've always heard a proper break-in period is recommended before any mods are done. The way this guy is running his car, I wouldn't be surprised if the engine is toast by 20K...

    Just some thoughts,

    Steve
When restoring my first "ride", a 71 Ford Torino, I used cut up beer cans as backer for bondo. Theory was, aluminum wouldn't rust, so why not?

Excuse me? HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Sorry, let me catch my breath. Okay, HAHAHAHAHA!!

Oh, my apologies, you said stock WRX. Yeah, there is no way a stock WRX could beat a WS6. I predict WRX front bumper at the WS6's front signal light. With $50 in mods though, the WRX is one bus length ahead for every pushrod in the WS6.

Try a wrx with turbo(BIG), ems, exhaust, and IC. It would probably be close from a roll. I would still bet on the ls1 pending the amount of boost running on the big turbo. Ls1 are way too powerful on the freeway. One would need to trap around 112+ to be able to beat/hang with a "STOCK" ls1.
