Talking A sheep in wolves clothing

Sunday, I was just driving around enjoying the day. I came upon a redlight and in my rear view I see a silver 03-04 Mustang Cobra. I noticed the oversized tach on the dash and hear that monsterous rumble of the V8. All of sudden he starts reving his engine like crazy (must admit it sounded pretty good). Sooo I was like what the heck let me see what he can do from a start against my AWD. Light turns green and I launch it from 5k. I get about 4 car lenghts on him and hold it. Next light he pulls up next to me. I noticed he also has the chrome 5-star Cobra wheels. Sooo we try it again, same results. Now I'm thinking, DAM% my lil' yellow Rex is kicking this guys azz! He rolls down his window and tells me that my car is pretty fast (duh ). I ask him is that really a Cobra? His reply "No, I just added the front lip spoiler with fog lights and the chrome Cobra wheels.....it's just a GT"........

    Ahh yes,

Mustang GT and V6 owners are encroaching on the hallowed ground of the typical low budget Honda Type R poser.

I see 2x the number of fake cobra's than I do real ones, "V6 GT's" are also all to prevalent.

Nice ride StopLightWarrior....smooth lines, darth-vaderish kinda vibe.

Tho, I think any gear-head worth his/her salt would key on the S/C whine and wonder what the V6 badges were all about.

I really dig that front end.

Whats the difference between your car and a Cobra? I thought a supercharged GT was a Cobra .

to answer the last 3 posts...A GT has a 16v 4.6liter 281ci Engine...The Cobra's have 32v 4.6 liter 281ci engine...However, in 2003, the cobras were given blowers from the factory...this was the first time, as all other cobras were NA from the factory...My GT's motor is untouched, I just slapped the blower/bolt ons on it.

I do have more pics, but my computer is still unhooked cause I just moved...I just use this computer for internet access...

oh, and about the black headlights...my car is for sale, so I'm not going to get any more parts for it.
