Hey, how much does the Stage 1 upgrade cost, anyway? Sounds to me like you can get the SRT into the STi ballpark for about $10,000 less than the purchase of the Subie. Pretty impressive bang for the buck!

    Mopar Stage 1 Retail: $399.99

A lot of dealers are selling it for $328.99!! Stage 1 truely is a great bang for the buck. The injectors are 577 cc/min (static fuel flow rated at 58 psi) and whole new re-mapped ECU. Stage 1 is rated at 240 hp @ 5200 rpm & 260 ft-lbs @ 2400-4400 rpm.

There is a guy in Miami with these mods:

    ($45.00) K&N Drop In
    ($328.00) Stage 1
($750.00) 3" Turbo Back Exhaust (with a muffler)
($150.00) AGP wastegate (set at 20psi and creeps to 17psi to redline)

    His dyno numbers:

    280.0 whp
    334.0 wtq
12.5 a/f ratio all the way to red line.

    Mine!
I raced the SR-T, its a Stage 1 (not sure whats included w/that) he said he just with that and an intake hes around 240/250whp.
    Me and Him
I took his ASS! haha, had a really good launch, by third gear, i was a good 5 car lengths ahead, if not more, and just kept gaining... Next time, were gonna go at it from a roll.... well see what happens...

This is what i saw in my rear view mirror:

    Here he is

    but 50x smaller.

This Eclipse, Friggin fast!>faster than i expected... Mods that i was aware of: Downpipe, Catback exhaust (or Turboback with those two), air fuel control, intake, boost controller @14psi, i know there were more but couldnt get it all.... he said he has ALSO 300hp to the engine and 245hp to the wheels! crazy huh?
    Eclipse GSX Pic

When we raced, it really wasnt coordinated, both times he went first, through 1st and 2nd gear we were pretty much even, but i started to catch up... (i didnt have the best launches). He says hes raced an STi on the freeway and the STi took him, he is still using the stock turbo.
if that eclipse had a stock turbo, there is no way he is at 300hp... unless by stock he meant a stock 1g 14b turbo upgrade

Actually the stock T(too small)25 can max out at 280whp with supporting mods. Either way that not a fast eclipse, but good kill either way. I was making 330 to 350 whp in my GSX with a S20g TDO6, and at least 1/2 of the guys at DSMtuners are are around that or faster.
