yeah, im glad other car owners are able to appreciate the wrx without slamming it like alot of ppl do. cause i think clubwrx does a pretty good job of respecting all the other cars out there while at the same time showing off our cars w/o being obnoxious. its cool to see other boards reciprocating the respect

You all are more than welcome at www.bimmerforums.com. You will find an abundance of appreciation for the mighty WRX. I know a couple of WRX guys over there.

ClubWRX is to i-Club what bimmerforums is to DTMPower in terms of mellow attitudes.

(Also, if you search there is porn.) But, you didn't hear that from me.

yeah people in other forums do so respect to us, but i think some of the WRX guys (not all) show no respect on people's forum especally on those RSX forum, they go into their forum and said how good is our car compare to theirs, and always start a fight. People!!! dont go into other motor's forum and start fights, that just made yourself stupid!!

It's nice to know that BMW owners show Subaru WRX's some respect...

However, I still don't believe that guy stayed even with a WRX w/ just a cold air intake, a 1996 328is is not that fast. 15.0 second flat 1/4 mile time w/ 190hp (I'm sure the trap speed isn't that impressive)..... from a 20mph roll... maybe... but a little more than "just even with him"... maybe 1 or 1 1/2 cars back... since the WRX has some bad drivetrain loss, I'll give him the benefit of RWD.

I raced a 2002 M3 and they are definitely FAST cars. The WRX needs to do a decent launch to stay and maybe even pull on a M3 ... pull "a little" but pretty constant up until 60-70mph when the M3 would start slowly pulling. This is of course a little modded WRX ... it was fun though. The M3 you could make a mistake and still keep up. I didn't race another < M3 because I try to go for the best ... then you can get a decent baseline.

I used to want a 2001+ M3 but now seeing the price difference and performance ... I'd go w/ a used GTR R34.

Hey for $60 I want power, performance, etc. Umm R34+.
