    Looks like a big departure from the evolutionary lines of the R32-R34, which I really liked. However, this new one looks cool too. I'm glad they stuck with a turbo 6 setup.

    Im 99.9% sure I like the r34 better, the .1% is left to the numbers it lays down
    285whp, still pokey as hell, but It has a 6 speed so Its ok

    V35 Skyline, not R35 Skyline....-_-

    the GTR will just bear the GTR name and toss out the Skyline name. Although it will share the same FM chassi as the V35 Skyline/G35 and Fairlady 350Z. Probably it will come w/ the same 4wd system now available and already availble in Japan for the V35 Skyline.

    those Pshopped pictures are nasty btw...

    no thank you! It looks too much like a 350Z to me. I would get one if it looked like the R34, and not THIS garbage.

    Did anyone else read that autofiend.com site on future Nissan cars? I found it interesting, and unlikely, that Nissan is going to (possibly) release a 400HP 350Z Turbo and a 380+-HP R/V35.

    Good find, but at this point it's just speculation.

    Why do all of nissans high performance cars have to look the exact same. I know they are all on the same platform, but look what subaru does with its impreza platform, they have a outback, and forestor on the same platform and the cars look totaly different. The G35, 350Z, and now this "Skyline" look all the exact same besides some minor light changes in the rear. R34 > the R35.

    What a hideous stinking pile of vomit. No inline 6 = vomit. Looks like G35 and 350z = vomit. Vomit vomit vomit......how could they do that afte the R34???

    Are JDM cars no longer required to have 280hp or less? It thought that the rule was no matter how much hp it had, 280 was the most it could be stated as having.

    omg i am so happy most of you guys feel the same way about the new skyline.

    a nissan gtr with no inline six has no place in my heart (its reserved for the spec c sleeper 996 has, the S15, or the R34, R33 GTR's)

    and that swap (rb26dett in a G35 i think) is totally sweet! i swear, i could feel a little tingle in my pants after seeing that. but i dont think i can stomach putting an older engine into a new car, unless that is a crate or new engine. ah what the hell, its an RB...

    i am personally waiting for nissan to turbocharge their cars, especially the 350z. right now im just happy you guys are fans of the icons of japanese supercars, and the inline six should really be brought back...

    sigh, i feel much better now thank you.
