It's not bad, it's MUCH diffrent than anything GM has done!!! I was actually caught at a loss for words when I saw it because I couldn't beleive GM would actually show the "abuse" of a car.
Stock or something close to it.....

So...they don't actually show the car at any point in the ad. Reminds me of some old Infinity ads that BOMBED big time and gave Lexus a huge leap ahead for a while...

I read a review saying that it's VERY hard to smoke the tires of the new GTO.

I think it is just a teaser ad.....I do not think they are ashamed of this car or should be. Other than the ugly Pontiac front facia (should have kept the Holden front end), the car looks like it will be quite the car. Not cheap though! $35K gets what seems like it will be a great car.

It's actually $31,xxx stock, or $32,xxx with a manual transmission - the only option available.

I watched the Speed Channel show about it last night and they listed it as $34K with the 6 speed an extra $695

Are the official numbers out? Are they in fact lower?

By the way, while the exterior leaves a lot to be desired IMO, the interior was NICE!!!! Especially the super bolstered seats!
