    Did anyone see that magazine that did all the mods on a 98 GT and put it on a dyno? They did all the bolt-ons and it only gained like 20hp (give or take)... they said something about the heads were very resticted.
    the heads sucked on those engines until 1999...even blown ones dont make good power.

    The 99GT 2V engine is still restricted by some crappy heads and intake manifold system. Some guys in the area are getting aftermarket heads and intake systems, and are making mad power. The Next genaration of the 4.6 2V engine to be used by the new GT will make a tad over 300hp. The heads and intake system have been totaly re-designd and the car will have more agressive gears.

    what kind of mods do you think would be needed for a 02 rex to be comparable to a 03 GT?
