What comes with a Cobb stage 2? If it doesn't have a turbo upgrade, then I'm pretty sure that it would be safe to say he'll win...maybe not by much, but he'll still win. Since you wanna "make him cry" you'll wanna go bigger turbo.

Cobb Stage 2 is just a reflash for a turboback equipped car. Although an excellent package (I have it), I doubt it could hang with an EVO.

The stage 2 is 280 no? Plus the WRX weighs 200 lbs less than the EVO,

and you probably weigh 50 lbs less than your dad.

    WIN!!!

If the cobb kit is anything like a turbo xs stage 2 which includes (turbo back, drop in filter, up pipe, and utec) then you should win. When I had that system I pulled 2-3 cars on an evo from a roll......Just some info...

Really? I'm not bashing you, but are you sure that the guy knew how to drive his car?

Absolutely.. A stage 2 wrx will beat an evo from a roll and from a stop. I did it several times to several diff. evo's in my area. I like the evo but I had 225whp w/my stage 2 and I am lighter than the Evo by 200lbs.......I think it makes sense since the evo dyno's at around 220-235 depending on the dyno....

Well that's great! Since I'm a stage 4 I shouldn't have anything to worry about then. Now to find an EVO to race

    Well that's interesting, I am Stage2+UP, 214WHP/220WTQ, Dynapack.
Good to know I have a chance, thought they would mop the roads with me. Rarely see one around here though.

When I was TXS stage 2 I had 212hp/229ft-lb and I was able to beat the only evo I raced. It's a pretty good race at that point as Evo's usually dyno at about those same numbers (maybe a little higher, but as mentioned they're heavier). I'm not familiar with what exactly the Cobb stage 2 is, but if it's similar to TXS stage 2, then it should be a good race. From a dig it's a drivers race really.
