my hybrid vs IS300

[Hybrid-WRX]

just a funny story thought i would share... lol

yesterday, i was coming home from a grocery store, saw a mildy tricked out black IS300 thru my rear view mirror weaving in and out of traffic trying to catch up. it seems to me that he was trying to showoff his ride or something. so i purposely slowed down and waited at the stop light just to see what he's up to.

As he pulled up next to me, I noticed he's got pretty nice bling bling wheels. so I looked over and gave him a thumbs up, but instead, he gave me a cold stare as if i am not as cool as him driving Lexus. man.. you guys should have seen this guy's face.. trying to look hard in his IS300 and revving his engine trying to start a race.
so im like whatever.. this guy is definitely asking me to deflate his ego..so I rev'ed it up about 4k and getting ready for a good launch when the lights turn green.

now comes the funny part, soon the light hits green, we both had our cars launched forward towards the next light which is about 1/4 miles away. i bet he totally underestimated my car when we launched it, because I totally got him about half a car length on the launch thanks to the AWD! and when i shifted into 2nd gear, my car jumped ahead for another 2 cars length!! and by the time i shifted into 3rd, he looked like he was standing still tru my rear view mirror!!!! i was laughing hysterically because of how badly he got beat!

so i stopped at the next light with my ugly grinning face tucked out of window waiting for him to catch up. And when he caught up, seemed a little upset, he asked me "hey is that thing turbo??" i was like "uh, no....this car is just what the sticker says on my spoiler.. 2.5RS.." he seemed a bit confused and made a quick left turn at the next light.

haha so funny just thought i would share..

AWESOME kill!! Man, only if I had the money, I'd LOVE to buy a gc8 and drop the wrx engine (or even an sti!?!)into it. TOTAL sleeper.
