    Another S2K eats it.

Im not big on stories so Ima break it down for ya. S2000s from a 60 roll can be delt w/using an uppipe, turboback, EBC, I/C hoses and a seriously dented front fender.

The cool part of the race was that I was trying to engage a 350Z when the S2K came up and challenged me.

    LOL.

The only reason the race was even cool was b/c he challenged me and lost.

I do like S2K's, but with a little body work. Not rice. I just think they look a little too....girly stock. No offense to any S2K owners. It's like the same way I feel about a Beetle Convertible....cept for the face that I don't like the at all....lol.

Nice run against one of the best modern examples of the classic small roadster.

I like their look, but don't associated them with mean street machines or cutesy Beatles. IMO the S2000 has clean lines and beautiful proportions while, say, the C5 looks overweight with an especially fat a$$. Of course, some people love a chubby ride. That's cool.

Relatively affordable and fun to drive fast, small roadsters have a respectable racing heritage. I'm looking forward to next weekend's Vintage Grand Prix (Lime Rock, CT) where there will be lots of them running hard and strong: Austin Healy, MG, Triumph, Jaguar, Porsche, Alpha Romeo, Ferrari .... BTW the parking lots are almost as impressive as the paddock.

With its great looks and handling, too bad the S2000 didn't come from the factory with the torque of an M Roadster. Still, it's a very nice machine.

The rumors on this are just K-razy man. I rev my S2000 to right around 5.5K to launch which isn't a whole lot higher than I launch the WRX. Much more than that and it gets wasted in wheelspin.

    Heh........8K.........thats a good one.
