Wow - great start and a nice race. Always good to see a Trix represent our community. Damn - I keep watching it over and over again - full screen - trying to make out the little Trix in the background. Beautiful launch. The WRX owner (like most of them) doesn't know 1. what he has 2. how to drive it. I bet were you to switch cars - you would've smoked him yet again. Not a flame - just an opinion.

Hopefully that's a grille cover and not a FMIC on that wrx...
Words I never hope to hear: "My Matrix is way faster than a stage 4 wrx"

16.34 at 89.3 mph with the trd intake not the fastest thing in the world........ but then again I love it all the same.

edit: haha notice the title... "My xrs vs a turbo wrx"... I didn`t know the wrx came without a turbo

Man.. that is rather embarassing... even with a missed shift and a bogged launch, I don't think an actual WRX would be back that far.

A lot of the time something can go wrong at the line and the driver will just cruise/limp the car down the track. Could be the case here.

I did not read the thread so I might be talking out of my ass.

The worst time that I have ever heard of for a WRX was 16.3 (Sorry Eli).

OMG That wrx must have had some engine problems + uppipe leak + mis-shift + who knows what else to have been beaten by a 16 sec car!

I completely missed the 1-2 shift and still managed a 15.0x. There is no excuse for running a high-16 in a WRX.

    assclown ("ahs * klow-nuh")

    1. A person who, while under the influence, makes a complete fool of himself while attempting humor. An assclown may wear an asshat.

That assclown thought he was being funny when he pretended to choke at the party, but everyone thought he was just being foolish.

    2. A person who, while making a serious attempt as something, fails to realize what a complete fool he has made of himself.

The actor, while in character, made such an assclown of himself during the production that most of the audience started to talk during his monologues.

    3. An untalented schmuck.

That assclown can't play the guitar at all.
