    Wrx 0 - Srt 2

I was driving on some of the freeways around town checking out what the car sounded like with out the muffler (BAD @$$). When I saw a srt-4 bolt onto the freeway and started closing in fast. The wife asked me why I was grinning ear to ear. After explaining I had a car on my tail that I have been trying to race for a while she stunningly said RACE IT! We went twice one from a stop and one from 55 (I think).

FIRST RACE: My launch was so bad that my wife was dogging on me! and he took me. It would have been a better race but just before the light turned my wife said look at that and I did. Light turned and I tried to launch at 2500 *sigh*

SECOND RACE: From 55 it was me in the in the lead for about 1 second then he was a car length at 100 when we shut down. Its a good thing to cause on the other side of the hil was to motorcycle cops. We gave eachother thumbs up and he yelled out "turbos for life"

Id have more fun around here If I could get the timing of the lights around here...

He said he was stock. The intake and BOV was pretty loud for stock but truthfully I have no clue what stock sounds like for these neons

Are you stock, other than no mufflers? If you are, and you didn't use your awd launch advantage, the srt will definately take a stock wrx from a dig or a roll. Good death I guess

    I have a MBC @ 14.5

I am deciding if I am going to sell the car or keep it

If I keep it I will go access ecu and an uppipe

I would be a lot happier about this if I would have had a good launch but oh well. I just love the rush you get when hitting the throttle!

yeah.............the launch is where your really gonna have the edge....so long as ya hook up.......thats my biggest gripe on the srts........they are a bit tricky to launch.........but once they hook they are good to go......

if you sell what are you gonna get?

94 Z28 helped (very little help) my friend build this one up. Dynoed at 479 most of it is internals... Also awsome interior and suspension mods Oh yah I dont have a mullet by the way

If I dont end up getting this I am looking for a 67-69 camaro...

I love the WRX but a little pricey for my level of income...

don't go past that or u'll hit the wall, when fuel cut.....

i get fuel cut all the time when racing, i gues the car is so quite even with a aftermarket exhaust.... intake..

Just to be perfectly clear I am not THINKING about selling the car because of losing... I know nobody said it but just to be clear

I shift between 6700-7000 the stock turbo doesnt offer much at higher RPM, or so it feels
