My TXS tuned stage 2+ vs. a z28 from a 1st gear roll

Crusing down Maynard road I pull up to a black z28 with a texas license that said "Z28 MOD". I figure this guy will prob toast me but well see if hes game....i wasn't sure since he had a girl next to him....any way we take off but we both wait for the other person to gun it....i rev and go from a 10 mph roll and so does he about the same time...his tires chirp like crazy and im of to a half car length lead at the end of 1st, shift to second, thinking "oh crap he should start to pull", but he doesn't, at the end of second he is one car back, i shift to 3rd still pulling slowly (!) and then at around I stop flooring it (its a 45 mph zone!) at about 80 where I let him fly by.....

Let me tell you he was pissed !!! you could tell by the look of his face he was emabarrased by my grocery getter!!!

    thanks
    joe

Very cool... Always fun to get an outcome that you didn't quite expect.
