    Video: Wrx wagon vs. Evo...sorta

They pulled off the line at different times but the Evo won. I think the wrx may be an 4eat. Not sure.

    Wrx: 12.91 @ 104.34
    Evo: 11.91 @ 117.71

    Wrx vs Evo

2nd video is the Evo by itself:
    12.17 @ 110.23 (I think)

    Evo 1/4 run

What's odd is that the Evo used all 5 gears through the 1/4 mile. Is that really necessary?

yea it looks to be like a 4eat. if you notice and pay close attention to the wrx he starts rolling after he lets go of the brake. and he keeps his foot on the brake while revving his engine. hmm. or i can always be wrong too. but the EVO is Preeeeety fast. but so is the WRX

Maybe the EVO run a shorter gearing through 4th rather than having two OD gears like we seem to have?!

The EVO also has provisions for launch control and WOT full-boost shifting. If you listen carefully, you can hear his ignition retarded between shifts.
