Tonight I ran her at the illegal street drags. There was this modded out Firebird T/A that was whipping up on everybody. I have never ran my altered beast at any competetition but I had to test my manlihood.
I called the T/A out.
I really thought that I was going to get SMASHED by the badass black Pontiac! I was like "What the hell?" and asked him to run me. He was laughing...and clowned my by saying..."Dude, I don't think that your Inter Cooler is big enough!"
Lined up...and got the jump on him...about 2 car lengths...and held it. The crowd was astonished!
The fool in the T/A then proceeds to bitch and moan about running again. He burned the **** out of his rubber before we lined up for a second pass...I smoked him again.
Tonight I sit on top of the world! I felt like a hero up there. Everybody was gathered around my car and asking like hella questions about my mods. I was like "I am stock...I swear! except for the FMIC!" I lied!
My baby did me well on this clear Saturday night...
I love her,
Andy!![]()

Next time I'm in sac we'll have to hook up.. You wanna try an SS this time? Good kill!! Was he catching you towards the end? Every WRX I've run leaves me out of the hole.. I need some slicks!!
LETS PLAY
he showed his intelligence by doing a burnout on street tires...
good kill![]()
Thats a great kill, can you post some pics of your car for us to see?
Justin
Good judgement comes from experience,
and experience comes from bad judgement.

Sacto what mods do you really have thougH? Don't you have a pe1820 Or a PE1818? I think I have read that you have teh 1818?
Alright,
Here is the DL on my car:
I was running 92 octane pump gas and 20% xylene with redline synthetic 2 stroke premix @100:1.
PE1820@1bar
Blitz SBc-Id
Blitz FMIC
Blitz LM intake
Vishnu up-pipe
BPM GT turbo back
TEIN RA's
17x7.5 CP-035's on Khumo Ecsta 712 (An AWESOME TIRE!)
JDM headlamps
Greddy Type "R" BOV venting to atmosphere
Carrosse CIRCUIT ONLY Polyurethane Transmission Mount (One of my most exotic modifications...JDM only, I have the engime mounts too...just have not installed them yet...VERY EXPENSIVE)
Sti guage cluster
Passport escort 8500 radar detector
Defi guage pod, and defi-link 60mm guages (EGT, Boost, and Fuel Pressure)
Cusco 21MM front, and 220r23? MM rear sway bars.
But get this guys...I AM RUNNING THE STOCK ECU! I am getting a link as soon as the taxes get back, but the check is not here yet. I also have STi 565cc injectors on the shelf too.
This car pulls like a mutha ****a. I am going to take her to the track...and I am POSITIVE that I will be the first STOCK ECU into the 12s. She is quick!
Thanks for the kind words all. I was feeling awesome last night. I think this street racing crap gets into your blood. I think that it is the rush, and the fear of reprisal from the po-po.
Well guys...thanks again,
Andy

You race with 17's on? That has to hurt your times some. I had friends who used to avoid the street races out there because of all the cops and the fact that your basically advertising what some ass can steal later on from you.
17x7.5 cp-035's!! I want those wheels so bad.. Aren't they ~13lbs/wheel? That's a crazy setup. Any close up shots of the wheels on your car? I remember seeing far away shots on i-club. Thanks.

Damn dude. How are you controlling the air fuel ratio? You have expensive mods. Please share.![]()
I think that shows the adaptability of our ECUs. Looks like it can handle a lot of mods even without Unichip or AFC. Of course the car will run better with well-tuned engine management, but still That's amazing.
Doesn't it feel good to win as the underdog?![]()
Well,
With the FMIC...I threw a lean CEL on pump gas. I have been running xylene for a couple of tanks. I am estimating that my Octane rating is round about 100.
Since the inception of Xylene, I have yet to throw a CEL, and I have been running it for about 1000KM.
I really need a knock link. I am pretty sure that she is not detonating, but you can never be "too safe" if you know what I am saying!
I can't wait to get the Link ECU and start tweaking. I am going to have Shiv Pathak Dyno tune me some maps after I get the link. I am hearing rumors of some companies in Norcal getting some AWD dynos. That will be nice...because as it stands now, for Vishnu to dyno tune, you have to pay them like $500 worth of labor to install, and unistall there FWD center diff. That is a hell of a lot of uneeded expense.
That FMIC was really alot of Bang for your Buck. I have been nothing less then pleased with the results. It pulls so hard in the middle.
Yes, it did feel GREAT to win as the underdog!
