Old vid...
jerk the wheel + braking = wipe out...
glad that Chevy didn't hit him...other wise it could've been worse. I think that's a 4-cyclinder Accord btw. Only see exhaust on the right side of the car.
Nothing but good ol' replicas...on my good ol' poser c240
The accident doesn't look THAT bad.. not as bad as the SRT-4 in the other post anyways.. but damn.. that really does suck.

Obviously the genius didn't see the car beside him but...how do you spin out like that in a FWD car?

it looks like they were going kinda fast, around 50 maybe. i've seen stuff like that on the freeway. sad
If you hit the brakes and jek the wheel at that speed the weight of the car will shift to the front wheels and the chances that the back end will step out are a great deal higher. It looks as if this is what happened to the driver of the Honda.

Well it depends a great deal on your break bias setup. My Tacoma had a tendency to be a bit hard to control under hard breaking...especially on the dirt (drums in the back and 13" discs in the front!!!)Originally posted by renichms

I wouldn't laugh at the poor guy for wiping out. I am glad no one was hurt. I would laugh at how embarrassed he must feel loosing all his cool factor like that! Kinda like stubbling down a flight of stairs because you were scoping some chicks (personal experience)![]()

My guess is that probably he/she had the suspension super stiff in the rear (rear sway bar and upper strut brace). That will make the car oversteer big time if you lift off the throttle and turn the wheel.
