Thumbs up Best time to race

At night when it's cooler, no passengers, and an almost empty tank of gas for the weight. It also helps if the road is wet from street sprinkler overspray.

That's what I do. Let it cool down and head east to the desert (San Diego County). Hit the twisties and let all that cool air do its job. I have done this stretch or road many times and for sure the car pulls much more when the temperature is around 45 F. BTW, last time I went, I played with a superbike. It was a Yamaha (nice one). I was on him the whole time (I swear its the truth) and actually had to let of the gas at some points. He flew away when the road straighten. Reasons for this happening:

1- Not a good motorcycle driver
2- It was really hot (90+) and the road was just cooking. My tires were screaming and I saw his rear tire wanting to break loose in the sharp corners.

    WOW!!

    Thanks for the update genius.

I am sure there are not enough worthless post on here for you to put this out.

I am soooooooooo glad you are here to tell us idiots when it is the best time to run our cars.....I usually wait until it is at least over 100 degrees and go fill my tank to the top, load my car up with at least 4 people and then go sit in traffic so I can get nice and heat soaked.
