    C3 Stingrays?

Anybody run against these in their stock form?? How fast are they compared to the rex?

I know it all depends on the driver, but as far as the cars are concerned...how do they stack up?

You find one to run you from a dead stop, and they'll be no problem.

I know weve had this discussion in another thread but if any owner of a restred stingray is willing to run thier car that hard I dont think thye should own it. I am a big proponent of driving your car the way it was eant to be driven but a classic stingray is not something to beat up on unless it is built to take. Im not sure how much the factory engine/tranny can take. IMO A new corvette however should have the piss beat out of it.

Id say if you run any from the early to later 60s good luck

most have stock 3.73 or higher gears and the least amount of horsepower made those years was 300

I would say these years run anywhere from 14s to 10s depending on what you run into, keep in mind they will hook much better assuming they have the tires of today and not the classics on them, the only reason they had **** times back then was the tires were so hard and were thin as hell
