    So what is the top speed for the WRX's at.. from the factory.. at what speed does the ECU cut out at?

    think its around 145, but there are ways to bypass it with the apex'i rsm i believe

    i only had mine over 100 one time just to see what it would do. i got a little past 140 and there was still some excelleration left. i let off though since i had already pegged the speedo.

    Its supposedly drag limited to 140, last I recall. Therefore a front lip and springs....or just a big hill could get you past that. Again, I could be wrong, but I know ive driven a STG4 wrx till the needle was back on the 0 side, and it had no SCD or anything of that nature.

    The manual does not have a governor, the auto has one at 130.

    But the manual does have a boost limiting feature at 148. It is for the sake of the engine not any speed limitation, or so I have heard.
