Came in 4 door versions as well with the SOHC motor, 1st gen.

2nd gen versions were obviously all sedans with the Magnum SOHC motor.

Came with lower-end adjustable Konis right from the factory for some years. Not too shabby on a 11K car, tehe.

I say prototype because the turbo on the SRT-4 is reverse flow and this turbo was specially built for the his SRT-4 and in not mass produced yet!! With the car set to 14psi to redline and the 75 shot it put down 378.5whp/396.9wt!! As soon as he posts his dyno sheets, I'll provide a link. Right now he is at N2K3, which is a huge annual neon event in Belvidere, IL (where the neon is built). Watch out for a red SRT-4 in Salem, VA!!
I would enjoy seeing the launches with this car. Maybe if he gets a couple of fat women on the hood he can grip better

Only if a mazdaspeed rx-8 would come out.. i'd sooo be there. Instead mazda is building a mspeed miata :X bleh

droogie, his best run so far with slicks is 12.4....

Yes, the MazdaSpeed Protoge is a handling monster, but seriously underpowered and overpriced. They are getting dumped. My buddy is a service writer for Mazda and has seen them come beck for work.

The Mini, IMO, falls into the same category as the MSP.

IMO, the Focus SVT is one hell of a handler and it makes decent power for the money. The the RS version makes its way to the states....LOOK OUT!!

LSD question has already been answered!!

Actually form what I hear Ford is planning on killing the SVT Focus and may bring over the Focus Cosworth to fill the gap. Say hello to another 300hp/300lbft AWD monster.
