    Since Best Motoring is a Japanese show, that HP figure is probably in BHP and not the conventional HP ratings that we're used to in the US.

    No, the DC5R (not RSX-R, there is no such thing ) was rated at 220HP in the video so the HP rating is identical. Japan simply gets a more powerful WRX than we do, that's all.

    I didn't watch the video so don't know if it was an R they used or not. In any case, you still have to be careful when looking at the specs when you're comparing Japanese numbers to US.
