Ok guys this has to be the race of the night. It was a dark cold and rainy night. I was driving home from the store. As I sat at the stop light I heard a loud rumble from behind me and looked in my rear veiw mirror. I see a green car pulling up in the lane next to me. On the front windsheild was a giant piaa sticker and residing in the front grill was a Skyline GTR emblem. He looked over at me and revved. I knew it was go time then. As I watched the leaves blow across the road in front of me I knew I would have to have my best launch to take this guy. The light turns green and he spins the tires. I jump out in front of him and the race was over. I smoked his custom ford escort GTR. I was laughing so hard the whole time I almost for got to drive. He had a non zx2 escort with a watermelon exhaust. When he tried to take off at the light his one wheel spun like crazy and I never revved it above 3 grand the entire time and still killed him. He flew buy me about mile down the road and I just kept laughing. Why would you put a Skyline GTR symbol on your non ztech escort. Oh well. I had to make the story interesting for ya.

I came from a DOHC Zetec ZX2 and I know for a fact what they are capable of. Whatever made this kid think a stinky SOHC Escort could do any damage is beyond me. It's "The Fast and the Furious's" fault you know. I hate that movie.

F&F ruined everything....now all these ricers are spawning up like weeds in your garden...eckkk. On that note, I'd love to have an Escort Cosworth or the upcoming(2003) Focus Cosworth or even a Focus RS, I'm doubtful that any of them will ever reach North American shores without costing an arm and leg.
I try not to judge any car or any person, but the car was just so funny looking with that GTR symbol on there. He likes it and thats all that matters. I just hope he leaves me alone.

At least Nissan had the good sense to add the "I" in my cars GTI-R name. Then again I have the same technology running the AWD system and it is a turbo from Nissan.
