My boy used to have an AE86 Corolla. He's no Takumi though, and ended up crashing it into a tree when he hit a patch of sand on a curve.

My bad. Thunderbolt sounds like a sweet movie. Any chance I will find it in a video rental store?Originally posted by Impreza01
Incorrect... while in "Who am I?" the heroine (not Jackie) gets to drive a Lan EVO 4 to escape pursuing E36 m3s, it's not the movie previously discussed. The movie we're talking about is called "Thunderbolt" or Pi Li Huo in Mandarin.

You'd have to go to a Chinese video store. As of yet, there hasn't been a U.S. release of Thunderbolt. Even at the Chinese video store, it's not a 100% chance find because the movie was made back in 1995 and so it's a little old. The way I got my copy was when I went back to Taiwan and bought an "all region" DVD version.T.J.

I have a copy of it, i bought it in china town. I ask the vedio store guy to order it for me. To be honest the racing scenes is kinda stupid. It races were just speed up by video edditing. But the fighting parts were the bomb!

I heard that Legend of Speed was pretty good... It's Mitsu vs Subie... but I heard the Evo wins, do'h!!!

Thunderbolt kicks ass. The FTO vs. Skyline race is the coolest 'streetrace' correography ever, lots of drifting and tirespinning through the streets of hong kong. I wonder if Jackie chan did the driving since he 'does his own stunts'!
You can get Thunderbolt in any of the Chinatown vcd stores, it'll be in the cheap section next to last years porn.
Legend of speed is really awesome too. The 2 girls in it are supposed to be the hottest asian girls on the planet in Hong Kong, and that guy is supposed to be the ideal "cool nonchalent" character in movies.
He races a wrx, the wrx wins, then he learns how to drive (haha cause he's a rich spoiled ricer) and get this:
he beats the wrx with some NAAAAAAWWSSSSSS. (Except they call it Nitrogen)
!!! I'm pretty sure this movie came out before F&F, but it's not a bad movie at all, good story, good acting, good screenplay i think. Just don't like the NAAAAAWWWWSSS part![]()

Jackie Chan drives a Subaru in the Cannonball Run, although they make him and the Subaru look kinda stupid in it...except maybe for the fight.Originally posted by verc
