    Me(Wrsxy) vs Mustang SVT Cobra

    So heres what happen..

Me and the gf are cruising around and we stumble upon a svt cobra convertable. So i say hmm, i want to race that. So i fallow im around a U turn and we get back on the highway... Then he trys to lose me, but i deny it and stay a car lenghth behind.

So a light turns yellow.. then red.. and we stop. (his tires fighting for traction to stop fast, but the WRX takes the cake and stops better)

THe SVT is revvin it up, and so i give a rev. The light turns red and the heat is on.. I started to bog the launch.. then brought the revs up and corrected, landed a beutiful launch, chirped all 4 when i fully released the clutch and was off like a mad man, instantly pulled on him.. in 2nd gear his front was by my back door pannel, then i started to pull and he shut down about a car and a half back..

Woohoo, first real victory for me..

He had a girl in the car.. and i had my girl, i showed him not to mess with our wrx's.

My gf can verify if you guys dont believe me.. cause some prolly wont..

my mods are in my sig.

Must have been the Walmart Air Freshener that gave you that vital edge

    What year Cobra?

The only thing that makes this believable is that you only raced up to 60 or so. From a stop on the street a lightly modded WRX can show it's tailights to a lot of high hp cars...... for about 5 seconds.

I went to about mid 3rd gear, i was gonna keep going but i saw he shut down, and there was a van coming up fast infront of me.

The cobra was a 2000 body style.. So not the newest supecharged one, but the one before it.

Whoa, for a minute there I thought we were going to feel the full wrath of '03 Cobra (the poster) but then I noticed you were talking about an '00 Cobra. Big difference.

    Good run!
