    Raced an EVO last night.

As I was driving on 280S last night, I saw a red EVO 8 merging on the freeway. My passenger and I got very excited, and hoped that he'd race us. I had always wanted to race one, but they are still rare, so this was a really good opportunity. I pulled up right next to the EVO with all 4 windows down. The EVO guy looked over and we both gave each other thumbs up, then my friend asked him if he'd race us to see how we do. Both cars had one passenger.

Anyway, we both drop it into 3rd, it was hard to hit the gas at the same time. He took off when the front of my car was by his driver door. I gained that space back and got ahead by about 1foot, but I missed 4th gear twice. (first time missing 4th gear ) DAMNNNNN!!!!!!! I got right next to him again, and told him that I missed 4th, and he said you car is freakin fast man...we asked him if we could do it again and he said that he is exiting the freeway.

My mods are: (Exhaust & Chip)

    ECU reflash
    Strömung dual cat-back
    Bosal DP
    STI uppipe
    Stock 3rd cat (pre-cat)

Just be careful, some of them have been modified. I know one personally that has an estimated 700hp. So watch out!

I didn't grind it but it seems to hang when shifting carefully. I've done it twice in the last 2 weeks.
