Well, tonight I met up with a bunch of local F-body and MKIV owners for a little go-karting and hanging out. After we were done, I headed out with a buddy with an 01 M6 TransAm with air lid, LS6 85MM MAF, ported TB, exhaust cut-out, a Pro 5.0 shifter and Nitto drag radials. I didn’t get my nitrous filled so we both agreed not to spray (he has a 100 shot and I have a 50.) We did two races, one from a dig, and then the other from a 20mph roll. Filming was done from my car.
From the dig I got a good 2-3 car lead on him and kept it all the way to 130 when I shut down. In the video, you pretty much see me launch, then his headlights the entire way. He didn’t gain an inch. The passenger in his car said he thought I might have crept on him, but I was watching the road
From a roll it was a pretty good race. He got the jump by a bumper and we held it even until 4th gear when he started to inch on me. By 130 his rear bumper was about 2 feet in front of my front.
I’ll have the videos up shortly.

!#$%!#%!~! So you're cranking out close to 450 hp? Simply amazing! You should be in the low 12's if not in the high 11's is my guess. It'll be sweet if you have a list of everything that you've done to your car. I'm kinda curious as to how your rex holds together myself.Originally posted by silverscooby

Still waiting on he vids. According to the guy who shot the video they need a cable that will upload the vids onto a computer. The video I really want to see if the one of the same T/A I raced (but with a 100 shot) against a 02 Z06 with heads/cams/exhuast. The T/A took the Z06 by 2 cars from a roll both times.
If any of you guys are registered at supraforums.com check out the thread I have going over there in the kills section.

I disagree, there's an excellent replacement for displacement. It's called a freakin 18G turboOriginally posted by AsianWRX
Wow, its like David vs Golith..
That LS1 was lightly modded and it still held its own from a roll. Gotta love it.
Regardless, nice ride SilverScooby . I'm going to start saving my pennies for that 18G.

Very true. A LS1 is hard to beat when you're talking HP per dollar spent.

I love it. Seriously, boost begins to build very rapidly at about 3,000 rpms (sooner in 1-2 gear) and I get full boost by 3600. Around town and from stoplight to stoplight this car is hard ot beat.
