    Gunmetal C5 Corvette in Delaware

I'm cruising home from Chestertown on Thursday evening on 896N in DE, when I stop at a light behind a punk in a C5 Corvette and his g/f in the passenger's seat. We are both in the right lane lined up to make a left turn (weird, 5-point intersection). In front of the Corvette is an Outback. After we make our lefts, the Corvette moves into the right lane and stomps on it. I do the same. He gets the jump on me in second gear, but I caught up fast and moved into the left lane to blitz by him at about 100mph. Needless to say, I made the next light and he didn't. Learn how to drive, man.

Big floppy gold wrist bracelets have been known to make shifting a Vette rather difficult.

Nice take down, Jim! The last C5 I raced a few months ago (before my downpipe) walked past me after 80 mph, but the guy was cool and gave me a thumbs up for being in front of him prior to that.
