    It's a joke but my parents think I drive slow ... I accelerate very fast but travel at a slower constant speed than most people unless I've having fun.

    Same here. When in a car with no radar jammer, I generally top out at 5 over the speed limit...but accelerate like no one's business. With jammer is another story...then I got acceleration and a bit more speed too.
