WilliamG, out of curiosity, what is the coefficient of drag on the WRX sedan?
Uh oh. I sense a rise there.

Sorry, I just really really hate Neons. My wife had to drive one as a rental before I got the WRX and it's one of the worst cars I've ever driven, aside from a Skoda I once had for an afternoon, which truly was the worst car I've ever driven.

I have nothing against the SRT-4, I'll repeat. I also have no idea what the drag coefficient is on the WRX, but it's better than a Neon for sure. I watched the cotton-wood go flying over my scoop when I drive so it has to be relatively decent

The PT-Turbo is NASTY though, which is getting bad to the original post.

With the wing, it's .37 and without? (.35, I've heard)

WilliamG, I was just curious!! Hey, you are allowed to form your own opinion, although, you really can't compare a base neon rental to an SRT-4!!

I did some searchin on the internet and the WRX a drag of .33, but what surprised me the most, was the the neon SXT has a drag of .34!! I guess my basket handle creates some serious drag!!

I'm suprised at how close the drag is between the Neon and the WRX. I thought the Neon was a bit more efficient.

Most PT Turbos sell with the "autostick" transmission, which will slow them down some. Yes, the SRT4 and PT Turbo have the same engine but the PT is taller and weighs more. The engine is underrated at 215 hp (not whp) on both.

I've had to hear about all the info for a very long time now since I'm on some PT forums and have a PT now (not turbo although I have the parts to take it WAY beyond a simple "turbo" PT) that I'm selling (to get an STi).

Also saw an SRT4 at the beach last week. Are they all yellow?

No, Yellow, Silver, Black or Red this year. 04 loses yellow and gains blue.
