Yes, actually. That's a WRX hood scoop on the roof!
Wonderful use of OEM parts, that car has.
At least it's not all show and no go.
Did you see that fatty front mount?![]()

Easy guys. I guess its true that people do justify their own car choices by ripping apart the decisions of someone else. Sure there are non functional modifications on that car, as I'm sure there are on many of all of our WRX's. Its just a matter of degree, and he decided to go farther than many of us would. Don't get me wrong, I love my WRX, but there are a LOT of people out there that laugh at WRX modifications and accuse us of rice. So, if we don't like it, we shouldn't turn the other way and laugh at other people. Believe me, I take crap DAILY from lots of my friends, and all I have been talking about is some tint and new 17" for my WRX. I haven't even done anything, I'm stock right now. It sucks to get laughed at, and I find it ironic that a chat board for a compact Japanese rocket (WRX), especially one where people constantly talk about body kits and cool rims, has the balls to call rice and laugh so hard at someone. Its really the only thing that bothers me about this normally very cool and positive chat board.

go fast, take the apex(no matter what)
The Show to Go ratio is too unbalanced. The ridiculous points of Show offsets any Go it may have had. Even if it runs 10s...Originally posted by PKer

I think that's an Apex'i Dual N1.
At least the turbo this guy has will muffle the fart tone enough so that we'll be spared a few decibels of torture.
Anybody know what he actually has under the hood and how fast the car goes? I'm curious to find out.![]()
IIRC, it was a B18C1 or B16A2/3 with a GReddy turbo.Originally posted by AREITU

What kind of hp(approx) is he pushing?
I mean those cars are not that heavy, so it might be fast????

Going for 11's
Those are Honda engine codes, if I remember correctly the B18C1 is out of an Integra GSR and the B16A is out of an older Civic SI.. correct me if Im wrong.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. The B18C1 was from the 94-01 Integra GSR, the B16A2 was from the 99-00 Civic Si and the B16A3 was from the 94-97 del Sol VTEC.Originally posted by skullguy

The GReddy turbo kit with FMIC runs about 8psi of boost on a stock engine. I figure he's pushing around 240+ crank hp.
