Aw crap, apparently the STi has an interior on par with a mere Civic Ex. I guess I don't want one anymore. That 300hp/300torque just isn't enough.

The R32 is nice, but I'd go STi because of its crazy performance, tunability, four doors, superior AWD system, and off-road ability. Yeah, the spoiler is a bit much, but oh well.

r32 because the subby doo is allready pushin 14 psi and the r32 is still NA .. spend 2-3 dollars and piece togehter a custom turbo setup ... say 10 psi and walk all over the sti . and evo7 .

Jesus Christ, I can't believe the amount of *****ing and pissing that is going on. They're both nice cars, but come on we're not all 10 year old babies anymore. Which car exemplifies the purpose on which it was built, STi all the way. The current GTIs suck, they're too soft. They have deviated from the initial intent on which they were built.

I used to frequent that board a lot. I hate that place now for my own reasons. Some of which are:

Most of the people on there have a very skewed version of reality.

VW's are not the best car manufactured on the road today.

Nobody cares how Euro you are, how about being original and creating your own style.

VW's only german characteristic is the incredibly high cost of repairs.

Take this from someone who used to have a 95 gti.

if he's using it for mostly racing, he shoulda gotten the evo, sick suspensions and brakes, stock

My previous car was a vr6 so I was all about the R32 at first until I did some research. Its really heavy and I think the AWD system is based off the TT, not the Audi A4 which isn't the best exactly. And I dont understand the point in just throwing in a larger displacement engine in there...that car begs for some forced induction, but I'd never s/c or turbo a naturally aspirated vw engine again.

Sorry to take this off topic, but drizze99 how did you get that much WHP and WTQ out of ~3 psi increase over stock boost with a SBC-ID? What did it dyno at stock?
