I truely have to say to only learn Flash on your own time. No offense to those that make a living at it...but Flash will not make you a 70K+ JOB...it might help but not that much.

Learn JAVA, or some high end application language(Object Oriented)/like C, C++, Java, or some other high end skills.. I learned Java in college. Now knowing how marketable I am makes all the difference. This lower flashy stuff works for part time easy money...I don't have a site, but here is what I know:

Percentage of Description Mentioning Named Skills: From our HR dept.
    JSP...I do every day
    J2EE...yep, every day
    EJB...same
XML...awesome and will gain you more praise then the top three
SQL...everything you need to know about databse query
Servlets...I wrote servlets, very efficient and effective
HTML..basic, but you HAVE to know
    Websphere...Java Development Environment!
Unix...Basically an environment where simple open source applications can take full advantage!

Many many more....let me know if you want to know.

Okay, this is kind of freaky, I too am a web developer, actually I own my own web production company... PHP.. CF.. ASP (CRAP!).. passable in PERL and Python... I see a trend to this very wrong forum thread. My Flash skills are amateur, but really not that bad.

    Yo

I'm in MM and Logistics ... I don't have gf so I just paid off my car ... 4yr loan @ $20K which was paid off in 1.5yrs. Sometimes I wish I had a gf but other times I'm glad my WRX does not talk back to me or give me grief.

I'm an Electrical Engineer. You can't spell GEEK without the E.E.!

Here's a tip kids: Stay in school. Go get a degree, make mad cash, and get a cool car. Nothing beats the satisfaction of driving a car you earned with your own sweat. Let alone all the other stuff, a car is a special thing.
