    WRX vs. Air

What is the top speed of a stock WRX? (5MT Sedan)
    Magazines seem to differ.
I've seen anything from 130 to 148 in magazines.
I saw 150 last summer (based on RPM to MPH chart).

Also modded WRXs, how fast can you go?

I think I remember seeing a thread about that somewhere. I believe the highest I read was 148. If you're looking to go that fast, bring a wad of cash to bail your a$$ out!

I went 140+, but I got nervous and decided it wasn't such a good idea to keep pushing it. Besides, there's no way to tell how fast after 140 anyways. If I was 18 again I'm sure I would have buried the speedo by now.

I hit 145 (gps verified) with TXS Stage 2 and was still accelerating - needed to brake for a bend in the road and a bridge (not wanting to get airborne).

I'm now at TXS Stage 4 - I hit 125-130 about once a week and can do that very very quickly - I don't know what it will do - but I am not as young as I used to be. I have to have the road to myself - daylight - straight highway etc etc.....which does not happen very often.

I got up to 140 and my stupid car started making a loud howling/whistleing noise. Stupid cheap mirrors. So thats when I slowed down.

I wasn't going to say his name Armin. The cops might be after him now. Notice how he hasn't posted for awhile? (I know because I stalk him) They got him.
