Sitting at the gas station pumping gas this man comes up to me and asked me if I race my WRX. I said yes. He said he was a professional WRX race car driver that teaches Rally driving school in Ocala FL. A guy in a V6 camaro was listening and he spoke up. He said you race that Subaru? Can that thing beat my camaro?
I said without a dought. He looked at me like I was full of Shxt.
He said a bunch more stuff to the effect that I was lying. Mean while, I said good bye to the rally driver and he gave me a Mag. that showed the driving school ($600 a day - they provide the WRX).
Back to the v6 camaro guy. I finished pumping my gas about the same time as camaro guy. (I did that on purpose) That gave us
a chance to leave the gas station together.We followed each other out of the gas station and off course you know what happened next. He floored the gas - actually getting a little
wheel spin in the mighty v6 camaro - I proceeded to take off after him. By the time I hit second gear I blasted by him like I was shoot out of a cannon. I pulled about 15 car on him and slowed down. He then pulled up next to me and smiled and gave me the a few head bobs. At least he was cool in defeat. I know,why pick on a poor V6 camaro. It wasn't the car it was the guy. He needed a smack down.
I guess its going to take a while for some of the general public to realize the WRX is true performance car.

Yes thats the school. The guy I met name is Urmas. He gave me his phone number. He was really cool. Older fellow with a Euro accent. He told me he drives the race version of the WRX. Man I would love to take that thing for a spin.Originally posted by Verdugo
