    thats weird. A crappy 2.0 60' and they trap 104, but with a beautiful 1.7 60' they trap 101-102?

As much as I would like for the STi to be in the 12's stock, im thinking they are more low-mid 13 sec cars. The EVO is just weird! and fast hehe.

Yeah actually i'm expecting them to be low 13s, but just kinda hoping they've got enough performance to back up the extra 4 grand that the STI costs than the evo. I know it'll handle like mad, i heard that bridgestone has made a new tire specifically for the STI, (RE70?). Also it'll have 3 differentials, so it is worth the money, but i'm really hoping that it'll be able to take down those evo's stock for stock on the dragstrip as well.

I know what you mean solak, im hoping the new STi will take the EVO in a 1/4 drag. Kinda funny since these are cars made for turns hehe. It has a little more hp but it will probably come down to the gearing. I never heard they had tires made for it, that sounds bad! as in good!

That's about what I expected. I'm indeed impressed, but you need to learn something about this forum. You can't post anything positive regarding an Evo VIII or an SRT-4. Its just a matter of seconds until folks start shooting it down .

I don't think their trap speed is low at all.
Vishnu stage 2 kit claims to run around 12.5 1/4, with trap of 106.

actually i think this forum is quite fair and most peeps in here are very level headed when it comes to competing cars. those times are quite faster than expected but still believable. i hope peeps will see it as it is and take it as getting to know the competition

That would be a 13.5 I believe, and very nice times for the Evo. It's going to be very interesting in a year when I am in the market for new car

No, the Vishnu Stage 2 claims 12.5, not 13.5, @~105-108mph! Very nice...

Those EVO times are nuts - that's quite impressive, but like someone else said, wait until stock and modded STi's are running around at the 1/4 mile track. I think we'll see them in the 11's in no time at all...

They could run like two 1/4 miles one after another in the time it takes me to do one.
