    Dodge Tomahawk

Have ya'll seen this. It's Dodge's concept bike. The Tomahawk sports the viper's V-10 engine. It's packed with 500 hp, and is capable of a speed exceeding 300 mph I personally would rather lay an egg than ride this beast.

    For vital stats, go here.

    Here's a terrifying pic...

    Yea, it's a fantastic machine.

Although no one believes that it will be able to exceed or even come close to 300 mph. At those speeds your back acts as a spoiler and you would be ripped off the bike.

A comment was made in popular science i believe that "At the least it's a good stand for your viper engine"...

I was reading up on the bike @ the local Chapters bookstore, and it said that the 300MPH top speed is just pie in the sky. Aparently, it is more like 250mph (taking aerodynamics into consideration). Dodge might also put it into production for about 125K IIRC if there is sufficient demand....

As cool as it may be, I highly doubt that there will be sufficient demand. I may be wrong, but I still doubt that. It's like the 1,000 hp 1,000 ft/lb torque Cadillac. It's a cool idea, but not many people are gonna buy it.

I am sure that people such as Jay Leno would be first in line for something as outrageous as this!

I saw it when it came to Atlanta a couple of weeks ago. Pretty cool, but a little intimidating, hell I'd give it a go.

My god the thrill that thing would give me. Id find out the top speed real quick, then realize how fast im going and fall and die, but it would be a fun ride getting there. Imagine the sound of a viper, now imagine that same sound eminating from a shiny lil bike next to you. I would be scared, very scared. I read somewhere you cannot flip that beast (over-wheelie) due to the way its set up, that is incredible. The reason I wouldnt drive a turbo-busa is because you give it gas you fly up on one wheel, this would be a thrill tho.
I have an eclipse. It is slow. Please don't hate me for driving such a car, I really want a WRX. Please buy me a WRX, Ill be your friend.
