    cars under 40k used?

    my dads looking for another car. he was thinking about a CLK, but i said to look at a M3, hes also looking at the Z, or an audi. any other recomendations, something used that can be gotten for around 40 or below?

    new s4's around here are 38, he can get a used 350z track edition, a used cobra, used vette, used civic hb HEHE, USED WRX!!!!!!!! new evo, new sti, the options are endless....he can pay my car off and buy a new wrx for 20grand. i wont hate him for it either!

    he doesnt like the ride of vettes, i suggested a z06. i suggested sti but he needs more status then that for work. im hoping for an m3 or s4

    M3, gotta get that, I think its the best car in the 50k area. Maybe the audi S4 if it has AWD, but the M3 is so sweet.

    About a quater of the time my boss drives his 740IL Consulate Edition. I think those are used for about that much.

    BMW MEANS BUSINESS (and class) imho
    in my mind, Audi is somewhat overrated. I just never found a niche with them. still have yet to find an audi that has me stopped in my tracks.

    If he likes the Z, why get a used car at all? A fully loaded Z (I don't know what trim level he'd prefer) can be had for $30k or less. Then maybe a few thousand in bolt-ons for the beast? That still leaves room to spare under $40k.

    Just reminded me, a friend of a friend just put on a new CAI on his red 350Z. Whoah! That thing screams. Oooh, just imagine a TT version...

    hes got an older porsche restore that he got done 86 targa carrera. so i dont think he wants another porsche
