VS1/TXSII Hybrid (RIP)
Me: I hit a highway divider at 120...
Stupid Cousin: Is that a bad thing?
i think thats a fully built fwd drag car
825 hp through the front wheels would be a challenge to control, to say the least, on the street.
2002 s2k - stock
Has to be strait drag, with the block filled with epoxy for strength it wont run long before it over heats.
Damn neat though.
sounds kinda like the 4 banger top fueler that was in SSC a year or so ago. Solid billet block made close to 4K HP, if my mind is working today.
not doubting the block, i just like to see video of these things, i guess there's been so many videos lately, i'm kinda spoiled, hehe. or heck, at least a time slip
but then again, it's a purpose built motor.....still waiting on a streetable one to go in the 11's, which i would guess isn't too far away
k&n, sti-hoodscoop, engine mounts, & tranny mount, blitz dtt, catless up-pipe, samco ic hose, greddy CC, cusco f/r swaybars, gutted midpipe, oil cooler, prodrive exhaust & f/r replica sti strut tower bar, gunmetal rota tarmac, goodridge ss lines, p'n'p exhaust manifold
deny the fly-by
As soon as the mopar staged upgrades hit the market, we should see these. The aftermarket upgrades will yeild nothing compared to the factory stuff. Stage 2 should be good for 275 *rated* hp, but we've seen how PVO rates themselves. I'm betting on at least 275 at the wheels, and over 300lb/ft.Originally posted by capt'n'caveman

Why would you think that factory upgrades would be so much better then any other after market source?

From what I have seen this is a drag car set up for the strip. It is not street legal.
Unlike the many 9 sec Supras/ Eclipse that run low 9s in street legal trim.
Well you can buy the package from them that will get you to around 10 flat and that is streetable and still has all the interior intact and such.

well i am betting soon after the installs on upgrades, there goes the warranty as well as the eng...not to many stock blocks can run 10's and still be streetable... left leg clutch must look like thigh sizewill see once these cars get out a little more and parts start getting put on... nerver underestimate the competion though... just have to see for myself i guess...
