I don't know a lot about turbos but it is interesting how it builds torque so fast and then drops off. It has a much diffrent range then the WRX.

Looks pretty similar to my dynographs(the stock neon graph lol) with the stock turbo on my wrx. Lots of torque in lower rpms, peak horsepower in midrange, but with both torque and horspower fading at high rpms

Part of the torque graph shape comes from displacement. I noticed that when I went from a 2.0 to a 2.2 my torque peak shifted left a good 500-600 rpms. Because of this, my peak horsepower also shifted to the left.

John was pointing out that the difference between the stage 1 and stage 2 was nothing more than a bump of boost pressure 1 psi. Is there some kind of ecu upgrade that goes along with stage 2 or is it really just a turn of the boost controller?

gotta watch out for those dynojet dynos they tend to overstate power... stock WRX's can dyno near 200 whp on them...

They are inertia dynos and determines HP based on accelerating a drum.

Other dynos like a mustang dyno uses magnetic eddy currents to actually produce a real load.

    Correction Factor...

Vishnu ECUTEK - kickin' @ss and takin' names

Stick that sucker on shiv's machine hehe...

Stg 3 would probably dyno around 186 whp

but I gotta admit the tourqe is incredable anyway you cut it...
