They are inertia dynos and determines HP based on accelerating a drum.

Other dynos like a mustang dyno uses magnetic eddy currents to actually produce a real load.

    Correction Factor...

Vishnu ECUTEK - kickin' @ss and takin' names

Stick that sucker on shiv's machine hehe...

Stg 3 would probably dyno around 186 whp

but I gotta admit the tourqe is incredable anyway you cut it...

You beat me to it! I was thinking the exact same thing LOL.

I think it's perceived power on the dynojet would drop off 35WHP on Shiv's/Vishnu's dyno. Dynojets are for bragging rights.
    2002 WRBP WRX

Old setup = BPM GT turboback, PDE up-pipe, Unichip w/custom map, cooler plugs (NGK range 7), Walbro 255LPH FP, MBC (15 PSI), and custom built turbo utilizing the 13G housing (Internals: Hitachi compressor wheel, Mitsu 15G turbine lightly clipped).

    1/4, 12.88 105.10 - 1/8, 8.09 85.96

New set up = Now w/UTEC and STI Injectors

    1/4, ? - 1/8, ?

I wanna see the torque and power curve when someone slaps a larger turbo on there!

If they do, would it just shift the whole dynamic of the curves?

The neon is running the same TD04 that WE have stock! At least that's what I read somewhere.

There are different types of housings (TD04L, TD04HL, etc). There are too many variables to count in/out. I think most would agree that the SRT-4's wheels are larger.

After some tuners get a hold of this car, it's going to be a force at the drag strip and on the street. That car is begging for more boost with the FMIC & iron block. I'll be the first to say that Dodge is not one of my favorite companies, but they have a good deal of experience with turbo'ing cars and looks like they hit the mark with the SRT.
