    I saw that the track was in Alabama and thoght that maybe it was an APR car, I know they have a guy who can drive the pants off of a 1.8t.

    You should see the video of the guy from APR... runs... something like 12.2 or 11 .4 in the 1/4.. it's on their web sight... I looked for it but couldn't find the link to the video...

    Just what I think

    With descent drivers in both cars:

    0-60 WRX would win.

    quarter mile gives the revver a chance to catch up, so it's real close.

    Professional Drivers:

    I think S2k would win.

    On a different note:


    Your friend may be initiating a broken differential if he deeps launching in that rpm zone.

    Higher is better because it will shock the tires loose. Too low, there's just not enough power to cause much harm. Right in his prefered rpm range is where damage is most likely done.

    I'm on my second differential and haven't been to the track once.
